Fishing in Toledo Bend Reservoir

Lost Anchor Park is a great place just to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Our Private Setting is ideal for this.

 

Water Sports: Water Skiing, Tubing, Wake Boarding 

Toledo Bend Reservoir is renowned for Trophy Largemouth Bass Fishing with Largemouth Bass over 10lbs caught on a regular basis, particularly during the spring spawn. White Perch (Crappie), Bream and Catfish are popular species commonly found in the lake.  

These activities can be performed on Toledo Bend Reservoir. There are areas on the lake that are safe for these activities.

Toledo Town is located 6 Miles from the Park and affords basic necessities like Fuel and Bait. There is also a Hardware and Grocery Store.

Turtle Beach Boat Ramp is located 1 mile from the Park, which is available for a minimal fee.

 Take a drive on Toledo Bend Forest Scenic Byway LA Hwy 191

 

Don't forget to take a drive across Pendleton Bridge for a great view of the lake and enter into the Texas side of the Lake.

There are local Restaurants in Toledo Town to satisfy any cravings for Mexican, Seafood, Burgers and Pizza.

If you want to venture away from the lake you may want to drive to Historic Natchitoches, LA which is the oldest settlement in the Louisiana Purchase and Established in 1714.
